The Copper Basin Medical Reroof project was funded by a HUD-CDBG grant the City of Ducktown received in 2018.  Several buildings of the complex were experiencing significant drainage problems with the existing roof system. The project involved full replacement of the standing seam metal roof system, including new gutters, downspouts, and eave closures for the affected buildings. The project scope of work was to replace 40,000 square feet of Built-Up-Roof (BUR) with full tear off and removal to the concrete deck, with 2.75” polyisocyanurate insulation and a .60 mil, Mechanically Fastened, Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) Single Ply Membrane installed. In addition, all edges, penetrations and walls will be flashed.  A new metal drip edge 24 gauge will be installed. Approximately 3,500 square feet of standing seam metal roof will be replaced, and 12,000 square feet of metal roof will be refurbished.

Farmer | Morgan, LLC provided the City of Ducktown with grant development assistance, A&E design services, and CEI for the project.
