Pikeville Main Street Project, Pikeville, TN

The Pikeville Main Street Project began with the partnerships of the City of Pikeville, The Tennessee Valley Authority, Sequachee Valley Electrical Cooperative, and Bledsoe County Administrative Officials.  With the task set to evaluate the current condition of pedestrian and vehicular lighting in the downtown area, it became increasing apparent that the scope of the project needed to be adjusted.  Through numerous public meetings, a decision was made to undertake a Main Street Project to restore walkabliity to the City’s Downtown.

The city hired Farmer|Morgan to produce a set of construction drawings to transform downtown Pikeville into a walkable, energetic public space.  Based on the trust and leadership developed during the design process, the city of Pikeville contracted with Farmer|Morgan to manage the construction process and ensure the highest quality of design was maintained throughout the project.
