The Crab Orchard Utility Department Renegade Mountain Waterline Extension Project is for the installation of approximately 12,700 linear feet of waterline that will supply clean water to an elevated water storage tank that provides water to a residential community on Renegade Mountain. The old waterline that fed the elevated water storage tank was deteriorated and was located on an inaccessible part of Renegade Mountain that made maintenance and repairs extremely difficult. The new waterline is now in a location that allows the utility district better access to provide maintenance and repairs to the waterline and to the water pumping stations.
